Team Overview:

The B&M Retail team manages best-in-class in-store pharmacy operations, diagnostics, and e-consultation services, focusing on excellent customer experience. The team works closely with Warehousing, Merchandising, and Marketing for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Performance and Sales

• Achieve daily sales targets including private label, BigBasket, generics, and high-margin categories.
• Drive diagnostics target achievements.
• Conduct prescription reminder calls and follow up with dormant/lapsed and high-value users.
• Monitor commitment register and ensure timely customer deliveries.

Omnichannel Order Management

• Ensure zero pushback on omnichannel orders.
• Maintain 100% turnaround time (TAT) compliance for order processing.

Customer Service and Experience

• Greet customers respectfully (folded hands).
• Understand and fulfill customer requirements both in-store and via calls/WhatsApp within 15–20 minutes.
• Build strong, professional customer relationships.
• Manage home deliveries according to business protocols.

Inventory Management and Accuracy

• Perform daily inventory inwarding with 100% accuracy.
• Ensure correct SKU placement per location mapping.
• Conduct daily removal of expired, near-expiry, and non-moving stock.
• Record bounced items in the system.
• Conduct daily physical SKU audits.

Compliance and Banking

• Maintain duplicate invoices and cold chain temperature records per SOP.
• Regularize manual bills and manage sales returns with email approvals.
• Prepare Daily Sales Report (DSR) and cash ledger during shift handovers.
• Respond promptly to pharmacy-related emails.

Store Hygiene and Visual Merchandising

• Maintain store cleanliness with housekeeping staff.
• Clean and organize racks and shelves as per VM SOP.
• Place discount tags and display monetized brands correctly.

Marketing and Promotional Activities

• Set up marketing collaterals and standees as per guidelines.
• Participate in marketing camps and door-to-door activities.
• Inform customers about ongoing offers, home delivery, and diagnostic services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with computers and pharmacy software.
• High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and ethical behavior.
